As a south Florida family photographer something that I constantly have to deal with is hot, muggy, sometimes wet, weather. Thankfully, this family session was actually in the morning so I didn’t experience any of that! It was so refreshing!

These family photos were taken at Riverbend Park in Jupiter and I was forced to move outside my comfort zone and use different locations because of the lighting. There are a few really great spots that I normally shoot at here, but they aren’t ideal for morning sessions! So I arrived suuuper early, scouted around, and found these gems!

The light was hitting just perfectly, and towards the end I actually found some nice golden light shining through one of the trees (you’ll see!).

Something that I loved about this session was the outfit choices! Julia did such an amazing job outfitting (is that a real word or am I just making this up?) her family to coordinate without matching. There was a great combination of textures from her brown corduroy skirt and black tights to her daughter’s cute little headband!
