An iconic Jupiter Lighthouse wedding, complete with a custom-made dress and tented reception.
This couple’s intimate wedding held under this towering beacon of light was a romantic, hope-filled, and down-to-earth celebration.
The staircase leading up to the Jupiter Lighthouse is one of my favorite features of the venue.
So much warmth and light
Situated aside the calm blue waters of the Jupiter Inlet, Kirsten and Evan celebrated their intimate wedding at one of the most unique historical landmarks in Southern Florida, the Jupiter Lighthouse.
Over the course of the whole day, I couldn’t get over how comfortable and down to earth the wedding felt. Kirsten and Evan married each other in a setting with a level of intimacy that was enchanting. Gathered together with their most-loved people, there was no drama — just a delightful soiree under the bright Florida sky.

More about their Jupiter Lighthouse wedding
Let me tell you, this couple was a perfect match. Evan is such a goofy guy who is always joking around and making Kirsten laugh, whether it was their engagement session or their wedding. But, it was also easy to see how sweet and sentimental he is with Kirsten. As a photographer, I absolutely love seeing a couple’s personality shine through like that, especially during a first look as touching as theirs.
Their first look was so intimate and emotional, it had me tearing up, too!
Boho Florida wedding refinements
Not only is Kirsten so sweet, but she is also extremely creative — you could find her design touch all throughout the wedding. Her self-made decor had to be one of my favorite parts of the whole day, and honestly her creativity inspired me. From the unique hoop bouquets, to each of the table arrangements, and even her wedding dress (she had it custom-made through an Etsy store!) every boho touch from Kirsten gave the wedding so much personality.
Kirsten’s custom made wedding dress from Etsy was so unique and fit her perfectly.
Every piece of decor was so customized and unique!
Kirsten created her very own hoop bouquet for herself and all of her bridesmaids.
I loved the groom’s feather bow tie!
A ceremony under the banyan trees
Their ceremony took place under towering banyan trees that cast refreshing shade over the entire wedding.
The ceremony space under the banyan trees has a large wooden platform for the guests’ seating.
A tented Jupiter Lighthouse wedding reception
This tablescape at their Jupiter Lighthouse wedding reception will have anyone craving a fresh blueberry cocktail. Yes, they spiced up this reception with signature cocktails, dazzling bistro lights, tall candles, and custom lighthouse-inspired cookies.
The table settings at the reception were so gorgeous with neutrals, greens, and pops of gold.
How incredible are these custom lighthouse cookies?!
A couple that can fire it up
Thank you, Kirsten and Evan, for allowing us to capture your warm and shining wedding day! (That ended, beautifully so, with a fire-throwing by the groom and a sparkler send-off.)
Creating this “Love” sparkler photo was so much fun!
