Nautical Artwork | South Florida Artist

The thing that started it all.
I have been painting ever since I can remember, but I never thought anything would come from it. That all changed after college when I was unsure about the career path I had chosen at the time. I got a job teaching art classes which reignited my passion for art. It also made me realize that God had given me this gift of painting and I wasn’t using it to it’s full potential. I started creating artwork with the intention of selling it and to my delight, people really seemed to love it! Since then my art has continued to grow and expand. I began with painting mostly on canvas using acrylic paints, but then started using glass as my “canvas” instead. I love creating nautical artwork. The subjects of my paintings are usually marine life such as sea turtles (a lot of them!), various fish, mermaids, and other creatures!
You might be wondering how painting led to me doing photography. Well, when I was finished with each painting I needed to have a professional photograph taken of each one so that I could offer giclees (reproductions) of my artwork. However, once I finally had a camera in hand I wanted to try out taking pictures of people, too! And I’m soooo happy I did!!
While I no longer offer custom artwork, I do still offer my own original paintings for sale! All of the paintings above are available for purchase, so if one catches your eye please contact me for more info.
