Casa Marina Key West Elopement

This Casa Marina Key West elopement was one of the most beautiful days I’ve ever photographed!

Getting Ready

It all started out at Casa Marina in Key West where Katelyn and Brandon got ready. Even though they were in the same hotel room together they went into different rooms so that they couldn’t seen each other. This is always something that I recommend to couples who are eloping so that they don’t pay money for an extra room that they are only going to use for a couple hours!

First Look

Casa Marina had so many places that would be great for first look spots! However, there was one in particular that stuck out because of the beautiful architecture! Andrew and I led the two of them out separately to their first look location so that they could have their special moment. From there, we took some bride and groom portraits around the venue! There was a stunning pathway lined with palm trees that leads from the building straight out to the ocean which we took full advantage of during their portraits!

Ceremony

After that we drove over to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park for their ceremony. Up until that time, we were blessed with tons of sunshine and clear skies, but almost the moment their ceremony began it poured! We hopped into the officiant’s car to sign marriage licenses and shortly after the rain subsided and we began the rest of their bride and groom portraits.

Sunset

I think it was due to the rain that we had the most BEAUTIFUL lighting I’ve ever seen! The sky was filled with colorful clouds during sunset and we even got a rainbow!! 🙂 It was truly magical.
