Asheville Elopement Photographer | Big Bald Mountain

As an Asheville elopement photographer, this was one of the most beautiful views I’ve had the privilege of photographing! These Big Bald Mountain portraits were SO BEAUTIFUL!! We were originally going to go to Max Patch but we had access to Big Bald Mountain and it wasn’t as difficult of a drive up as Max Patch!

Not pictured here are my husband Andrew and our two pups running around in the fields behind us. But what you CAN see in the pictures are beautiful mountains and a sunset so golden it looks fake. But it’s not. It actually happened.

This golden, grassy bald along the Appalachian trail had 360 degree views which made this a perfect spot for sunset OR sunrise portraits. Some of my favorite photos from this session are the bridal portraits at the end. The sequin wedding dress from ASOS was glittering in the sunlight and it was mesmerizing.

Also, just a side note: I actually made that bouquet of dried grass myself! I actually don’t even know what kind it is (if you do, please let me know)! I picked some grass on the side of the road next to a gas station and I love the way it turned out lol
